I wish there was a 6 star for atmosphere. The dark jerk chicken is amazing, the plantains are incredible, and the rice and beans and Mac and cheese are also incredible. They also have traditional Jamaican soda. Highly recommend trying ginger beer.
First time trying the place out. Got the wings meal with corn, Mac and Cheese, and the rice with beans. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. The wings were very tasty didn't think I needed the sauce. Adding the sauce brought it up to a whole nother level. A little sweet a little spicy. The Mac and cheese was good and so was the corn. I drizzled that sauce on both as well. It elevated everything. The rice and beans definitely wasn't dry. Will go back to try more options. Update: Went back and got the spare ribs. As much as I wanted wings I wanted to sample more of the menu. Everything again came out piping hot and fresh. Ribs were super tender and juicy. I love their version of dumplings. I dip it right in the extra sauce.
Had a wonderful lunch here. Had their jerk wings and a beef patty. Husband had a rib tips plate. They have us some samples of a delicious beef soup. Everything was superb. Staff is super friendly.
I purchased a medium pan of Jerk chicken and peas and rice for an event. The people enjoyed the food so much. I appreciated the professionalism when ordering and during pick up. Great service Taste of Jamica!
I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Everything on the menu is delicious, , fresh and reasonably priced. I love the beef patties especially when on the go. Thanks for the amazing service. We gift our family gift certificates for holidays, it’s that good!
My first time at Taste of Jamaica and I had the white jerk lunch with cabbage and plantains. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and packed with so much flavor. Also I never knew that cabbage can taste this good! The plantains were sweet and tender. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!
We went here tonight wow what a great place to eat I had the ox tail with red beans and rice , wife had curry chicken with the same and the kids had dark jerk chicken. The food has some spice but they can cool it down if you ask. I would recommend this place to anyone amazing just amazing.
The food was phenomenal. The oxtail fell from the bone. I wish they were a little meatier but don't we all. Got the jerk ribs with my combo, the spices were bold and good. Rice was tender and so was the beans, seasoned very well. The potions were good for what you pay. Mac was a little greasy but aren't we all? Tip them
